This project received both the Sussex Heritage Trust Award and a BALI National Award.
The Beach Garden is located at Shoreham Beach Community First School in West Sussex. Using the area of ground condemned by the education authority, a new garden was built to provide an educational and recreational area. The materials used were all reclaimed locally from Shoreham docks. The first photo shows area before work commenced.
The Beach garden was featured in The West Sussex County Times.
